President/CEO of Together We Rise talks to MTV News about song, slated for March release.

Justin Bieber‘s fans are working to give back the same way the pop star readily does. Several of Bieber’s biggest fan groups, as well as the nonprofit Together We Rise and Brush Buddies (the makers behind the singing Bieber toothbrush), have all teamed up to work on a charity single.
“They’re all working on pieces of the video and the lyrics. Right now, they’re putting together videos and thank-you’s.’ We’re working on the back end,” Danny Mendoza, President/CEO of Together We Rise, which focuses on helping foster children in the U.S, told MTV News about the project.
“It started with a young lady named Vivian, she runs the Justin Crew fan club and she approached it on Twitter. She approached it and she had a lot of fan support,” he continued. “She took it upon herself to take a leadership role, and then she contacted me because she needed some guidance. We just decided we’ll help you do it. Justin Bieber had tweeted about us in the past and helped us get some recognition, so it was a thank-you to him as well.
Proceeds from the song will go toward Bieber’s Believe charity drive. It will drop in March, just in time for his 18th birthday on March 1.
“I’m almost 100 percent positive that they know,” Mendoza said of Bieber’s camp’s knowledge of the project. “Justin Bieber inspired a lot of young people to give back. It’s a thank-you for helping us and we want to give back in your honor.”
Bieber is certainly not a newbie to the world of charity. Mendoza said that having a pop star like Bieber being so socially conscious has been incredible for the charities he helps bring attention to.
“He definitely has the right people around him … They made it a priority that giving back is more. I think his relationship with [his manager Scooter Braun's brother] Adam Braun and his charity [Pencils of Promise], he was able to see hands on a lot of it.”
After Bieber tweeted this week about the Trillium Gift of Life Network, the Ontario-based organ donation network has seen registrations skyrocket to more than 1,200 people, four times the amount the network usually receives.

With his health taking a drastic turn for the worse, Joe Paterno is said to be in “grave condition” at the current time.
While CBS Sports reported that the former Penn State coaching legend passed away State College hospital after experiencing complications from lung cancer treatment, a family spokesperson has denied the claim.
Adding to this, Joe’s son, Jay Paterno, tweeted, “I appreciate the support & prayers. Joe is continuing to fight.”
Having taken over as Penn State’s head coach back in 1966, the man commonly referred to as ‘Joe Pa’ accrued a record 409 wins and two national championships during his time leading the program.
Meanwhile, Paterno’s health woes come after he experienced a dramatic past three months of life, having been dismissed as coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions football team back in November 2010 due to the highly publicized sex scandal involving his former assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky.
Recently opening up to the Washington Post about the circumstances surrounding the Sandusky allegations, Joe told, “I’m sick about it. I didn’t know exactly how to handle it, and I was afraid to do something that might jeopardize what the university procedure was. So I backed away and turned it over to some other people, people I thought would have a little more expertise than I did. It didn’t work out that way.”

Young Money rapper softens the blow of sophomore album’s delay by premiering her ‘Stupid H–’ video.

Back in November, Nicki Minaj announced that her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, would debut February 14, giving fans a little something extra to look forward to on Valentine’s Day. Now, there’s been a change of plans. Just a couple of hours after premiering the video for her latest single, “Stupid Hoe,” on Friday (January 20) Minaj announced that the album would be delayed until April.
“New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED,” she wrote to her throngs of followers on Twitter. “But have no fear. Tons of surprises before then 
. Love Always, HB.”
Fans weren’t thrilled to hear about the delay, but the new video for “Stupid Hoe” was enough to tide them over momentarily. In the colorful clip, directed by Hype Williams, Nicki is in full Barbie mode with bright makeup, her signature pink wig and prosthetic body parts, and she even gets a little ferocious, morphing into a caged tiger. With the sexy, bubblegum effect of the video, it’s almost easy to forget that the track throws a few harsh words at her female critics, most notably Lil’ Kim.
When “Stupid Hoe” originally premiered in December, the song held the first clue that Minaj might perform at Super Bowl XLVI (“2012 I’m at the Super Bowl,” she raps), and the video confirms that suspicion. In the midst of the outrageous colors and special effects, the video cuts to a sign that reads “2012 Super Bowl,” which means the Young Money rapper will likely perform alongside headliner Madonna.
After premiering the video, Minaj proceeded to retweet the overwhelmingly positive responses from her Barbz, who will likely be thrilled when she releases the album’s second video for “Roman in Moscow.” In December Minaj told MTV News that the visuals would set the stage for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
” ‘Roman in Moscow’ is like a teaser to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” Minaj said. “When I say it’s a teaser, it’s like a trailer to the movie, it’s like setting the stage, and I just wanted to touch the surface. It’s the wackest thing on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”
